Training school on “Application of AI and Machine Learning in Biomarker Discovery and Personalized Medicine for Pancreatic Cancer”

We are pleased the announce that applications are open for the next TRANSPAN COST training school, AI and Machine Learning in Biomarker Discovery and Personalized Medicine for Pancreatic Cancer, which will be held at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, September 8-10, 2025, organized by Joel Arrais. The training school will be open to 18 early stage researchers with the support of 6 mentors.

This is a 3-day training school with theoretical and practical training on AI and machine learning models as a biomarker discovery and personalized medicine tools in pancreatic cancer. Please register via the LINK https://forms.gle/gk8XARyAKZLaSyLx7 on or before the 30th of June 2025 including a brief CV and motivation letter of no more than 2 pages in PDF format. We will inform applicants of their acceptance to the workshop by the 10th of July, 2025. Please also remember that you must be a COST member to attend the training school, attached are the COST rules for reimbursement for your information.

We are also looking for trainers for this training school with extensive experience in AI and ML modelling. Please contact Joel Arrais directly if you would like to participate as a trainer (jpa@dei.uc.pt).
