TRANSPAN Early Career Investigator’s Meeting

We are happy to announce this year’s TRANSPAN EARLY CAREER INVESTIGATORS’ MEETING will take place in Craiova, Romania on the 28th of March, 2025.

This workshop is dedicated to PhD students and post-docs without a faculty/permanent position, and this is focused on Personalized approach in the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer precursor lesions.

During one full day, the attendees will have the opportunity to share their research results, learn about their peers’ projects and network with experts in the field.

Attendance is free of charge.

The Application will be open until February 15th and the results will be sent by email on February 21st. They will be evaluated based on the content of the Abstract and CV.

This workshop is specifically designed for early career researchers. It is dedicated to PhD students and post-docs without a faculty/permanent position, and it is entitled “TRANSPAN Early Career Investigators’ Workshop for Personalized approach in the diagnosis of pancreatic adenocarcinoma precursor lesions”.

 The workshop will be held in Craiova (Romania) on March, 28th 2025 (one full day).

Participants will have the chance to present their ongoing projects on several topics related to the TRANSPAN mission and focusing on this year’s workshop main topic. These sessions will be chaired by pairs of TRANSPAN early career and experienced mentors with vast and various research expertise.

For the upcoming TRANSPAN event, we will financially support up to 20 participants. They can claim reimbursement up to 460€ for travel expenses and 190€ per day as a maximum daily allowance. Please read the reimbursement COST rules.

In addition, we welcome up to 10-15 more participants who can attend the meeting without reimbursement.

The deadline for submitting your application is February 22nd, 2025. Your application will be evaluated by the workshop organizer and a group of selected specialists based on the quality of your CV and the content of your abstract.

The results of the evaluation will be announced before February 27th, 2025.
