Official call for applications for the first TRANSPAN EARLY CAREER-STAGE INVESTIGATORS’ MEETING

We are thrilled to announce that our workshop in Liverpool has been approved.

This is the official call for applications for the first TRANSPAN EARLY CAREER-STAGE INVESTIGATORS’ MEETING – which has been approved by the MC.

It is dedicated to PhD students and post-docs, without a faculty/permanent position. It will be organized on a yearly basis during the Action’s course. The first one will be held in Liverpool, UK, on the 3^rd of October, 2023 (one full day).

During 3 sessions on various TRANSPAN-related topics, chaired by senior mentors, the participants will have the opportunity to present their current projects to peers and experts from various research fields.

We will be able to financially support up to 15 participants for a maximum of 500€ for travel expenses and 208€ as the maximum daily allowance, per person.

The daily allowance covers the event day, the day before, and the day after the event, following the percentages explained in A1-3.1.3.1 chapter on COST rules.

Up to 10-15 more participants can attend the meeting without reimbursement. Participants without reimbursement can present their work as posters.

We strongly believe this workshop is a great opportunity for early career stage investigators to build new connections and to start new collaborative projects within the Action and beyond.

The deadline for submission is September 3^rd, 10^th 2023. The applications will be evaluated by the core group according to the quality of the applicant’s CV and the content of the motivation letter.

The results will be announced on the 10^th 15^th of September, 2023.
