May 7, 2025The third Management Committee Meeting of TRANSPAN was hosted this year at the University of Westminster in London, by prof. Pinar Uysal Onganer.
Besides the usual sessions focused on the working groups objectives and deliverables, presentation of the Actions achievements and planning of the following activities, we benefited this year by a strong representation from three of the most notorious patients organizations focuses on pancreatic cancer in Europe:
Pancreatic Cancer Europe – represented by Professor Eithne Costello – Professor of Molecular Oncology at the University of Liverpool
Pancreatic cancer UK – represented by Michael Stead – Advisory Board member
Asociación Cáncer de Páncreas – CRISTINA SANDÍN GARCÍA – the General Director of the association.
Their presence was inspiring and strongly motivating for all participants in the meeting, reminding us once more of our main goal which is to fight for life against this terrible disease.
