We are pleased the announce that applications are open for the next COST workshop Predicting pancreatic cancer in high-risk individuals and in the general population how long is the road yet?, for early stage researchers, which will be held in Friday June 5^th 2026, Pisa, Italy organized by Daniele Campa, University of Pisa.

This is a 1-day workshop with theoretical and practical training on prediction of pancreatic cancer risk, with special emphasis on two groups:

• people with a high-risk for PDAC
• the general population.

The workshop will focus on the pros. and cons. of surveillance/screening in high risk groups, the use of custom panels versus complete exome sequencing and the use of polygenic risk scores in both groups.
